If you are taking part in the competition and have any queries or concerns about your entry, our answers to these frequently asked questions might help:

 

What is the last date for getting my entry to you?

The closing date for the Super 60 is Friday 15 March 2019 and The Cut is Sunday 31 March 2019. If you think there is a chance that your entry will not reach us in time, please email [email protected]

 

Can I enter online?

You can download an entry form online, but will need to submit your Super 60 entry by post and The Cut is submitted digitally via email. Send your postal entries to The Hair Awards, 20 Freebournes Road, Witham, Essex CM8 3UN. Email your The Cut entries to [email protected]

 

I forgot to fill out my entry form, will my entry still be valid?

No, all entrants must complete the entry form and submit it with the necessary material in order to have their entry processed.

 

Are photocopied entry forms admissible?

Please feel free to photocopy the entry forms as many times as you wish. Go to thehairawards.com for further forms or more information.

 

Do I need to submit two copies of my entry for The Cut ?

No, you are required to submit the entry digitally via email to [email protected].

 

In what format do the digital (emailed) entries need to be supplied?

Your entry text (three reasons and testimonials etc.) should be sent as a pdf. Each accompanying images should be supplied at 72 dpi at A4 size. The three examples of your work should be supplied both at 72 dpi and 300 dpi. The pdf and 72 dpi images must be no larger than 2MB.

 

I have entered the competition but forgot to pay – will my entry get through?

Unfortunately, your entry cannot be processed unless payment has been received, so if you do forget to make the payment, or something goes wrong, please contact us immediately by emailing [email protected]

 

How can I pay to enter the competition?

There are several ways to pay for your entry; either with your entry form, enclose a cheque for £30 per entry (The Cut), £15 per entry (Super 60) made payable to Haversham Publications Ltd. Or, pay via BACs [Sort code: 40-05-16 Account no: 51641891 IBAN no: GB82HBUK40051651641891 Account name: Haversham Publications Limited Reference: Hair Awards/Entry Name].

 

Can I claim VAT back on my entry fee?

Yes, if you are registered. VAT is included in the entry fee.

 

I have won the same Award three times – can I enter the same category again?

Congratulations, you have taken a place in the Hair Awards Hall of Fame. Unfortunately, you cannot now enter the same category again, however, all the other categories are still open to you.

 

Can I enter more than one category?

Yes, there is no limit to the number of competition categories you can enter.
